12/5/15 & 12/12/15 & 12/13/15
On the first Friday of the month ER had their annual Hometown Christmas events. I took the boys downtown to the library where we made minion ornaments, decorated a gingerbread house, and mailed our letters to Santa. Later that night I took the boys to the ER Christmas Parade with my parents. We met up with Kelsey, Chloe and Dakota. The kids loved the parade. Blake said his favorite part was the Band and Santa. Owen said his favorite part was the candy they threw out.
On the second Saturday we went to Carter's tree farm to find our Christmas tree. It was abnormally warm and made searching for a tree so much nicer! Owen attempted to pick us out a Griswold size tree, but we ended up finding one that would actually fit in our house.
On Sunday we made our Christmas cookies with Grandma Julie, Grandma Eva, and Kas. The boys enjoyed rolling out the dough, cutting the cookies, frosting and of course eating as many cookies as possible.
