On Saturday we met Scooter and Lori at the John Ball Park Zoo in GR. We had never been to this zoo, which is amazing since I drove by it every day for over a year going downtown to my Education classes at GVSU. Owen enjoyed the zoo while Blake slept through most of the trip. Owen's favorite animal at the zoo was the lion who he said was sad because she was in a cage. :( It's amazing the things 3 year olds pick up on.
