Our Easter festivities started out this year by dying eggs with my parents on Wednesday after school. On Sunday morning Owen woke up to find the Easter bunny had hid eggs all over the house. We (the Easter bunny) debated over how many eggs should be hidden. Last year we hid 20, this year 30 and we could have easily have hid more since he had all the eggs found within minutes of starting the search! After finding all of the eggs Owen checked out all the goodies left in his Easter basket. Grandpa Ricker and Grandma Krissy came over for a bit in the afternoon to give Owen his Easter basket. Owen was very excited for his new swim suit, swim shoes, and candy. We went down to my parents house for dinner. Owen found more eggs that the Easter bunny left outside. He was absolutely loving running around the yard finding eggs. Each egg found came with a loud gasp and exclamation of "there is another one!" He got another Easter basket filled with swords (which caused chaos between Unk and O with their ninja sword fighting), bubbles, and books.
